The Western Larch, also known as the Tamarack, is a deciduous conifer species known for its tall, narrow growth habit, distinctive needle-like foliage that turns yellow in fall, and cone-like seed structures. It is a popular tree for its ornamental value, tolerance to harsh growing conditions, and strong wood.
