25 years ago was a sad day. We're thankful that our country is still a wonderful place to live in and build a business in and we're thankful for our public servants that help make our country what it is and has been.
This year also marks 20 years since Garden Gate Nursery shipped our first order of trees.

Garden Gate started with a conversation between Everett and Sandra Wray about trying something new. (My parents) After years of hay farming in the Columbia Basin, they decided to try their hand at growing trees. What began with just 450 trees has grown into tens of thousands of trees and hundreds of varieties grown across our Washington and Oregon farms.
Over the last 20 years, there has been plenty of trial and error, hard work, fulfillment, and, of course, a fair amount of stress. Along the way, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with great customers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
As we celebrate this milestone, we especially want to say thank you. Whether you’ve been buying trees from us for 20 years or just placed your first order, we’re grateful for your business and the trust you place in Garden Gate.
We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to growing and shipping great trees for many more years.
