Sun Valley Maple Tree
Acer rubrum 'Sun Valley'
Sun Valley Maple is a red maple cultivar with an oval, densely branched crown for shade and street use. Expect a medium growth rate to roughly 40 feet in height and 35 feet in spread in USDA Zone 5 and warmer. Young bark is smooth and light gray; older trunks darken to gray with age. Soft pink spring flowers are followed by typical maple foliage through the growing season. Leaves finish the year in a clear red fall color.
