American Dream® Oak
Quercus bicolor 'JFS-KW12' PP 23632
American Dream® oak is a swamp white oak selection with a broad pyramidal habit, strong density, and medium growth to about 50 feet tall and 40 feet wide. Bright green glossy leaves show good resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew. Fall color moves from yellow to tawny brown, with leaves often holding into early winter. Hardy in USDA zone 4, it suits parks, large lawns, and street plantings that need a sturdy oak canopy.
