Regal Prince Oak Tree
Quercus robur x bicolor 'Long'
Regal Prince Oak is a hybrid oak with a strong columnar outline for tight sites and formal rows. Medium growth brings it to roughly 45 feet tall and only about 18 feet wide in USDA Zone 4. Summer leaves are glossy, bright green and show good resistance to powdery mildew. The narrow habit keeps clearance under power lines and along drives better than broad oaks. Fall color shifts to orange.
