Tilia tomentosa 'Sterling'
Sterling Silver Linden forms a neat, symmetrical canopy about 45 feet tall and 35 feet wide at maturity. Leaves are green on top with a silver-gray underside that shows in breeze or from below. Fall color is yellow. Growth is medium, and the tree is suited to USDA zone 5. Use it as a shade or street tree where a balanced, formal outline is preferred.
